Bridalveil Falls, Yosemite, 1958
Inkjet pigment print from 8 x 10 negative
41-3/4 x 33-3/4 inches (framed)
Shot while studying with legendary landscape photographer Ansel Adams at his Yosemite National Park workshop, Tom Ferderbar's Bridalveil Falls, Yosemite compares favorably with the work of the master. Mother Nature's grandeur is shown to great effect in rich monochromatic tones, calling attention to the isolated waterfall from which Bridalveil Falls gets its poetic name.
