Steven Beattie, native of Skerries, Ireland, former soccer player from Northern Kentucky University and was taken by Toronto with the 13th overall pick of the 2011 Supplemental Draft. He helped NKU win the 2010 NCAA Division II National Championship and finished his college career with 77 goals, becoming Northern Kentucky's all-time leading goalscorer. He also registered 30 assists, the second most in the university's history. He was twice named the NCAA Division II National Player of the Year. He currently plays for Cork City Football Club in Ireland.

Jameis Lanaed Winston is a NFL quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Born and raised in Alabama, he was a highly regarded quarterback in high school, and led his team to the state championship as a junior. Winston played college football for the Florida State Seminoles and as a Redshirt freshman became the youngest player to win the Heisman Trophy and helped lead the Seminoles to a victory in the 2014 BCS National Championship Game. In his sophomore and final year, the Seminoles advanced to the Rose Bowl, part of the College Football Playoff. Winston also played on Florida State's baseball team. Winston was drafted as the first overall pick by the Buccaneers in the 2015 NFL Draft.

He was drafted by the Vikings in the second round, 43rd overall of the 2011 NFL Draft. He was selected for the Pro Bowl following the 2012 NFL season.

Ronnie Lott is a former American professional football player who was a cornerback, free safety, and strong safety in the National Football League (NFL) for fourteen seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. Lott played college football for the University of Southern California (USC), and was honored as a consensus All-American. A first-round pick in the 1981 NFL Draft, he played professionally for the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Raiders, New York Jets, and Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL. Lott was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000, and is widely considered to be one of the best of all time at the safety position in NFL history and one of the best players in NFL history.

DeMarcus Amir Cousins is an NBA player for the Golden State Warriors. Nicknamed "Boogie", he played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats, where he was an All-American in 2010. He left Kentucky after one season, and was selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings. In his first season with the Kings, Cousins was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team, and from 2015 to 2018, he was named an NBA All-Star. He is also a two-time gold medal winner as a member of the United States national team, winning his first in 2014 at the FIBA Basketball World Cup and his second in 2016 at the Rio Olympics.
Martin James McSorley is a Canadian retired professional hockey player, who played in the National Hockey League from 1983 until 2000. A versatile player, he was able to play both the forward and defense positions.
