Face the Future Foundation is committed to improving the lives of underserved Chicago-area children born with craniofacial differences by creating a culture and community of acceptance and supporting the unique physical and emotional needs of these patients.
Your support helps fund the ongoing care and treatment of these children for medical and dental specialists and allied health professionals' services at UI Health Craniofacial Center, and helps fund the free-of-charge events sponsored by Face the Future Foundation for patients and their families.

We are proud to support the UI Health Craniofacial Center, a recognized leader in craniofacial care. We believe that no child born with craniofacial differences should be denied proper care on the basis of ability to pay. While each child's story is unique, their stories share a common thread: the vast majority are from low income and public aid dependent families. The care they require may take years to complete and only be covered in part by private insurance or public funds. With each passing year the situation deteriorates and the challenges grow. Face the Future Foundation is dedicated to meeting this challenge.
About Face the Future Foundation:
Face the Future Foundation (FFF) is a 501(c)3 organization established to raise funds and public awareness to support the care and treatment of children born with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial differences by facilitating access to state-of-the-art medical care and by supporting research and education. The Foundation is dedicated to expanding healthcare access to underserved children in the Chicago-area who suffer from these conditions.
About the UI Health Craniofacial Center:
UI Health Craniofacial Center is one of the oldest and largest facilities in the world dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of infants, children, adolescents, and adults with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial conditions. Since its founding in 1949, the center has fostered the team approach to care. The center provides multidisciplinary management for craniofacial patients who are treated by medical and dental specialists and allied health professionals working together to provide comprehensive care in a single location. Today, it provides this care for more economically disadvantaged children than any other teaching hospital in Illinois by providing access to the highest quality care irrespective of financial circumstance. More than 5,000 Chicago-area children are helped annually.
*The President's Award recognizes the outstanding contributions and commitment given by an individual or organization that assists the Face the Future Foundation in carrying out its mission and purpose.
