Join the ASAA for the 15th Anniversary Gala Reunion!

The OSU Animal Science Alumni Association is a non-profit organization focused on promoting the profession of animal science. This is accomplished by providing scholarship and judging team support, encouraging student enrollment in animal science, improving awareness of educational opportunities and organizing events and activities for alumni.

In celebration of the 15th Anniversary Gala Reunion, we hope you can join us in Stillwater to see old and new alumni and friends as we highlight the National Champion Livestock and Meat Animal Evaluation Judging Teams, 50-Year Livestock and Meat Judging Teams, along with recognizing our 2018 Hall of Fame Chairback Recipients Drs. Gerald Horn and Bob Wettemann. The evening will be filled with highlights of the past 15 years of the Gala, an update of the OSU Department of Animal Science, and recognizing current students and judging teams.

The ASAA will hold their annual membership meeting and lunch on Friday in the O-Club at Gallagher-Iba Arena. Prior to the meeting, members are invited to attend a tour of GIA and Boone Pickens Stadium. Tours will begin at 10 a.m. in the southwest lobby of GIA. You are sure to be in for a treat with prizes and a special speaker during the membership meeting. Make sure and register for the morning activities, you won't want to miss them!

Saturday morning, we encourage past judging team members to gather at the Totusek Arena for a light breakfast and registration for the Old Timers Judging Contest. The National Champion Livestock and Meat Animal Evaluation Teams will take photos beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the judging contest will follow. Gather your teammates and mark cards for some fun competition. Critiques will be given by the 2017 National Champion Livestock and World Champion Horse Judging Teams. The members of the winning team will receive an ASAA quarterzip jacket and the chance to place their name on the legendary carved trophy by Wayne Shearhart. Tours of the new Ferguson Family Dairy Center and Charles and Linda Cline Equine Teaching Center will be available during and after the judging contest.
