A note from your hosts:
Me and Katy Aram are hosting a sewing class as a funbook event to raise funds for our school. We want to pass on the joy of sewing and creating. Also, a good skill for a child to have, may they need to sew those merit badges on scouts uniforms, those sails on sailing boats, or those unique Halloween costumes.
Both adults and child can apply.
With love, Carolina Minte-Vera and Katy Aram

An end section explains error correction coding in the real world, such as space communications, computer disks, and cell phones. The Secret Code Menace was published by Ransom, Ltd. (UK) in 2016.
About the Author, who will be speaking to the children and signing the books:
Pamela Cosman is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC San Diego, where she does research on wireless communications and image & video processing.
