The Loft is located in The Volland Store, a historic general store that has been re-purposed for an art gallery, an events venue, and a community gathering place. Located in a working landscape midway between two small towns, it is a rural retreat in the heart of the Flint Hills. Coffee is provided, but bring something for breakfast if you're not inclined to make an eight-mile trek for ham and eggs. Restaurant list and hours of operation will be provided. Sunday options for restaurants are limited. The best internet reception is in the kitchen on the gallery level or by the front windows of the gallery. Adequate for normal use, but not video streaming. You won't find all the conveniences of an urban environment; you will find something better. Bring your sense of wonder and discovery and a desire for a unique experience.
