This year, we want to bring the funk and soul of the 70s dance movement back to life. Hosted by Envise SoCal for the benefit of the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program, this annual gala promises to be a fun-filled evening. With over 200 guests expected to attend the event, your participation and support will contribute to the ACS's mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
"The American Cancer Society has been saving lives for more than a century. Every day, 500 lives that would have otherwise been lost to cancer are saved. Your dollars help us to help people now who are fighting breast cancer in every community, while working to free the world from the pain and suffering of breast cancer tomorrow. The money raised helps the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking breast cancer research, provide information and support 24/7, and provide access to mammograms for women who need them." During the event, you will be able to learn more about how the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting communities with a shared determination to help free the world from the pain and suffering of breast cancer. There will also be multiple ways and opportunities you can show your support and take part in this great undertaking of eliminating breast cancer.
While our event theme changes every year, our support for the ACS remains constant and unwavering. We are committed to remembering the lives that were lost to cancer, encouraging those currently battling this dreaded disease, celebrating the survivors and continuing the efforts in ensuring that there are many more survivor stories to share and to celebrate.
