No act of generosity is too small to make a difference.
Curry is an oasis of care for over 2,000 seniors annually in their own neighborhood, providing nutritious meals, housing, case management, primary health care, mental and behavioral healthcare, socialization programs, home visits and meals for home-bound seniors, and much more.

Donate an Item NowThe Board of Directors cordially invites you to a festive evening celebrating 46 years of providing comprehensive services to isolated, low-income and homeless seniors in the heart of the city.
The celebration will feature: delicious hors d'oeuvres and libations, live music, a three-course dinner and an exhilarating live auction presented by Curry Board Member and famous Bay Area news personality, Diane Dwyer, along with many wonderful silent auction items and special VIP guests.
A primary goal of the Helping Hands Healing Hearts Gala is to honor those who have made our community stronger and healthier through their efforts. We do this annually with three awards named after historic and iconic change-makers for Curry Senior Center: the Dr. Francis J. Curry Award, 2018 - California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC), for their support of community based health care in the Civic Center neighborhoods of San Francisco; the Joseph Mignola, Jr. Award, 2018 - Dolby Laboratories, for helping underserved San Francisco seniors improve their quality of life and supporting efforts in the fight against Alzheimer's; and in its fourth year the Vera Haile Dalenberg Award, 2018 - Tom Nolan, former Executive Director of Project Open Hand and former Chair of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, for his lifelong advocacy work benefitting seniors and adults with disabilities.
