ARTIST: Anne Huddleston

DESCRIPTION:
Monsieur Henri is a delightfully dapper young man that kept the company of the artist Vincent Van Gogh while living in the south of France. Van Gogh produced some of his best work including his famous sunflower series while living in Arles, France.

On one of Vincent's frequent walks in the countryside he met a wandering dachshund and each took a fancy to the other and became fast friends. Lazy afternoons were spent enjoying the warm sunshine while Van Gogh painted furiously. Napping was especially pleasant in the shade of the garden's lovely sunflowers from which Vincent pulled so much inspiration.
