Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's drawings/studies of cats and other animals, such as "sketch of a roaring lion", "codex on the flight of birds", "Dragon striking down a lion", "wing sketches" and the "Portrait of a Man in Red Chalk", thought to be Leonardo Da Vinci's self-portrait.

ARTIST BIO:
From an early age, Diana Halligan has drawn and painted. Originally from England, Diana pursued a nursing education which she continued when she settled in Ohio. Her interest in anatomy and drawing led her to the Art Academy of Cincinnati where she found her love of working with oils and studying the "Masters". She continues to explore the visual arts as a freelance photographer, and paints with a focus on portraiture and occasionally into set painting with community theater. She is also active as a practitioner in the Healing Touch community.
