The Bechtler Museum is the second in this country that was designed by the Swiss architect Mario Botta. They have a wide collection of artwork which includes some of the most important and influential artists of the mid 20th century. This museum is unique because only some of these artworks have been on public view in the United States. Until now, the collection was privately held by the Bechtler family of Switzerland.
