About Us

Worldwide Orphans (WWO) and Chicago Dance Institute (CDI) have a shared vision for providing high quality arts education programs and empowerment initiatives to the most vulnerable children.

The WWO and CDI Collaboration engages childen in creative play and encourages them to create connections within themselves and with their community, helping them to THRIVE! Both organizations share a core commitment to the arts and community participation. The WWO - CDI fundraiser at The Second City celebrates the unique intersection of the arts, children and international development at a quintessential Chicago performing arts venue.

With your help, we'll be able to bring the complementary partnership of WWO and CDI programming to Chicago Public Libraries, servicing Chicago's most vulnerable children.

Come join us for a fun night of cocktails, comedy, a CDI children's performance and a Second City show, "Fast, Loud and Funny," all hosted by Second City alum, Ali Reza Farahnakian!
