Come celebrate Mike Keen's move to his "second life!" Now that he has retired from IU South Bend, he has started Thrive Michiana, LLC, a sustainability consulting group. To recognize his time spent at IU South Bend, most recently creating the Center for a Sustainable Future and the Sustainability Studies program, Mike wants to celebrate by raising money to fund scholarships to enable underserved students from the Michiana area to study sustainability.

The event takes place Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 6:30-8:30pm at The Brick in South Bend. Doors open at 6:00pm for free nibbles from a number of local restaurants and a cash bar. The event features music, a roast (or toast), and fun, interactive ways to raise money to enhance and uplift the Michiana community.
