"Olympic Reflections" Photograph
This framed original photographic print was taken by Harker student Andrew Skrobak '19. In Andrew's words, "While driving up through the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state, we decided to stop at this island to take a photo of its reflection. I still to this day do not know if the island is of any significance, or if anyone else has stopped to take a similar photograph: I feel proud that I have pushed myself to the point of feeling original. While writing this, I have decided on calling it "Olympic Reflections," because it is literally a reflection in the water, but also because after looking at this photo, I look back on the trip and see how hard I worked to make it happen: I worked at a Christmas tree lot for over a month after school and over the weekends just to be able to subsidize the expenses of the road trip."
Estimated value: $150
Donated By: Andrew Skrobak, Class of 2019
