Paula Eiselt & Tonya Lewis Lee | Co-Directors of Award-Winning Documentary Aftershock 

   

Paula Eiselt is a Peabody-award winning and Primetime Emmy-nominated independent filmmaker known for her journalistic rigor in telling timely and intelligent cinematic stories led by strong-willed characters.

Tonya Lewis Lee is a director, producer, author, and entrepreneur whose work often explores the personal impact of social justice issues.

Together, they co-directed Aftershock, an award-winning documentary exploring the US maternal mortality crisis. Aftershock has received numerous awards including a 2023 Peabody Award, a 2022 Sundance Special Jury Impact for Change Award, and an NIHMC Award. 

 

Dr. Sharee Livingston | Obstetrics & Gynecology, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) 

Dr. Livingston is a practicing Ob/Gyn at UPMC Lititz and was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Livingston Co-Founded and Co-Chairs the UPMC Health Equity NOW Committee; is a founding Board Member of "Patients are Waiting," a non-profit organization that seeks to eliminate health disparities by increasing diversity in medicine; and a Co-Founder of the Diversifying Doulas Initiative and FLOW (For the Love of Women). She serves as the Chair of the Healthcare Subcommittee on Governor Shapiro's Advisory Commission on Women. She is honored to be one of the founders and president of MOKA moms (Moms of Kids Advancing - mothers of color in medicine).
