2023 Community Hall
The First Alaskans Institute (FAI) Elders & Youth Conference will take place October 15-18, 2023, at the Dena'ina Center in Anchorage, Alaska. We create space within our conference for the sharing of Native arts, language, song and dance and other cultural offerings as well as exhibitor space for those interested in sharing their services and programs with our participants. The Community Hall space helps bring folks at their own pace to enrich our shared learning by drawing upon and passing on the knowledge of our Ancestors and opportunities that may be available to the participants.
The hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on October 16 and 17. Space includes booth (a six-foot skirted table), two chairs and two presenter registrations (additional exhibitors must register as presenters for $45), access to limited wireless internet (high speed and dedicated internet may be at an additional cost). Depending upon demand, access to power (plug in for electronics) may be available for an additional cost.

The Artist Vendor booth is for Alaska Native (or other Indigenous people who are residents of Alaska) arts and crafts vendors displaying and selling their works of art. *Special Offer*: Artists who donate art pieces valued at $150 or more to First Alaskans Institute's 2023 Howard Rock & Ted Stevens Smokehouse Gala will be eligible for a free Community Hall table at the 2024 Elders & Youth Conference. After registration, artists will be contacted by our Advancement team to complete the donation process.

The Arts & Opps Showcase Exhibit space is for companies, non-profits, schools/colleges, and organizations to showcase and demonstrate their organizations, products, programs, opportunities, and services. The Community hall is open to for-profit businesses that are sponsoring the conference at the Teacher Level ($2,500) or higher.
Qualified 501c3 non-profits or Alaska Native Tribes who wish to have an exhibit space at the Community Hall may qualify for a special rate of $825. Contact us at silugngataanitsqaq@firstalaskans.org or call me at 907-677-1700 to discuss a discount.
