On Saturday, August 12, the Newport Art Museum will once again be transformed into the largest and most inclusive gallery in Rhode Island: the 30th Annual Wet Paint!
Artists and art lovers are invited to join in Newport Art Museum's art-making celebration and auction.
Wet Paint2. will feature hundreds of artworks, including many that are "still wet," created by artists of all ages and techniques. These unique pieces will be available for sale through a silent auction.
This year, Wet Paint 2 introduces a new theme - the square!
All artist's submissions will work within 12" by 12" parameters. Artists may submit up to two artworks in any medium (painting, photography, or sculpture) with wooden boards provided by NAM.
Artists of every age and experience level are welcome to submit original artwork to our silent auction. Wet Paint wouldn't be possible without the hundreds of artists who so generously donate their time and talent to support our Museum, so thank you!
Wet Paint is also a wonderful opportunity to support our Museum AND take home an original piece of artwork by becoming a bidder. All proceeds benefit the Museum's exhibitions, acquisitions, and collection care. Save time by registering to be a bidder online in advance!
