2023 HONOREE

CampGroup is a collective of 18 residential and day camps in the Northeast and Midwest, whose mission is to enrich children's lives by providing the best girls, boys, and co-ed overnight summer camp and day camp experiences. Project Morry is proud to celebrate their commitment to youth development with the 2023 Morry Award, our highest honor.  Led by CEO Mark Benerofe and President Dayna Hardin, CampGroup directors and managers are leaders throughout the camping industry, listing five recipients of the American Camping Association's (ACA) Legends of Camping award. Dayne Hardin serves as the Vice Chair of the National ACA Board of Directors while Mark is currently the Professional Development Chair of the NY/NJ ACA. CampGroup members also serve as ACA Standards Visitors and members of the National Conference and Emerging Professionals In Camping (EPIC) committees.

CampGroup has supported Project Morry's mission for more than 20 years, raising over $900,000 to provide access to life changing school year and summer programs for children in under-resourced communities. CampGroup members are active and dedicated volunteers for Project Morry's Associate Board, Camps That Give, and events like our Annual Benefit and Spring into Summer. Giving generously of their time, resources, and wisdom to our staff and students, they are a critical pillar in Project Morry's network of support and community.
