We are thankful for all who support Glenwood and the Ireland Legacy Golf Tournament. All proceeds benefit services for adults with autism and other behavioral health needs. Read on for what your gifts can support.

What is Glenwood?
Glenwood, founded in 1974, is Alabama's oldest and largest autism services provider. Glenwood provides behavioral health care and educational services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or behavioral health needs. Glenwood touches the lives of almost 8,000 children, adolescents, adults, and families in Alabama.

Why support Glenwood?
While symptoms may be subject to classification, people are not. At Glenwood, each person is treated as an individual. Evidence-based services and treatment are prescribed by professional staff who creatively tailor programs to enhance each person's opportunities for success. Equally important, Glenwood serves the families of each individual, encouraging family involvement to strengthen each individual's care.

How does the golf tournament support adults with autism?

Home Repairs: Glenwood has 24 homes for adults. Residents enjoy living with roommates while having 24-hour support from caring staff in each home. Home repairs are inevitable and often unplanned. You can help offset these expenses.

Personal Care: Feeling and looking your best is important. You can help provide clothing, shoes haircuts and more for those who can't afford it.

Medical and Dental Care: When over 85 people are in your care, medical or dental emergencies will happen. Your gift can help cover these unexpected but important services.

Community Outings: Adults in our care are active. Glenwood provides transportation, gas and entry fees for residents to explore the community, including museums, gyms, the zoo, church and more. Your gift helps residents stay on the go!

Groceries: Glenwood provides three meals a day, seven days a week. Residents and staff in the homes may make their own meals and snacks at home learning new skills along the way. Groceries can add up, especially with rising prices from inflation, and you can help offset those costs.
