FurFest 2022 is a hybrid event. That means that anyone can bid on their phone for our silent auction items- whether you attend the event or choose to stay home in pjs on the couch! Attendees get the added benefit of the in-person event including wine tasting, heavy hor'dourves, wine pull, raffle items, 50/50, and more!
ALL SILENT AUCTION BIDDING WILL BE ONLINE. PLEASE CONTACT ANY HSEC STAFF MEMBER FOR HELP BIDDING!
How do I get set up to participate in the auction?
Registering online is easy!
- Click on the "Register now" button and fill out your bidder information
- Check the boxes for terms and conditions and for text messages- so you can be notified about items you bid on!
If you already have an account, just Sign In!
How can I bid on items or make a donation?
Tablets, computers and mobile phones can be used to participate.
- Once you're signed in, click "ITEMS" to view the auction and start bidding. You can filter by categories if desired.
- Click the item you'd like to bid on, then enter you bid in the open text field, and click "bid".
- If you have opted in to text messages, you will be texted if you are outbid.
Can I view items before deciding if I want to bid?
Yes! Starting now, silent auction items will be regularly uploaded until the start of the auction. Click the yellow star on any item to easily access it from the "my activity" page.
Will you need my credit card information?
Yes, a credit card will be required to bid. Go to MY INFO to add a card on file.
I am not very "tech savvy", will I have a hard time participating?
We don't think so! The bidding platform is very user-friendly and we will walk you through the entire process!
If I win, how will I get my items?
If you win an item and are in attendance at the event, you will take it home with you! If you are participating from home, we will make arrangements for you to stop at the shelter to pick up your winnings.
How does checkout work?
If you are a winner of an item or make a donation, you can securely checkout on your own. Click the PAY tab to pay your balance at any time.
A text with a link to pay will also be sent to all users with a balance on file at the end of the auction.
