DINNER IN THE WOODS EVENT WAIVER 2023

WAIVER

This waiver and release will apply to any and all actions, causes, damages, claims, or demands of every kind, whether known or unknown, arising out of or otherwise incidental to participation in the Program.
I further agree, on behalf of myself and/or my minor, to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IslandWood and its agency partners, officers, board members, agents, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any injuries, liabilities, claims, damages, and expenses, including attorney fees, incurred by IslandWood, me, my minor or on behalf of my minor, arising from my minor's attendance and participation in the IslandWood Program with the exception of gross negligence or reckless misconduct of IslandWood.

While participating in the Program, I as well as any minors in my care agree to obey all rules, regulations, and laws of the State of Washington and the United States. I and my minor will further obey all rules, regulations, and policies of IslandWood associated with the Program. I acknowledge that my or my minor's failure to comply with these rules, regulations, policies, and laws may result in my or my minor's expulsion from the Program.

MEDIA RELEASE

I agree that any media images or statements taken by any IslandWood representative of me or my family as Program participants, shall be the property of IslandWood, and may be used by IslandWood at its discretion, for any publicity, education, marketing, and/or advertising purposes, and I hereby consent to and authorize such use without restriction. I also understand that I/we will not receive any compensation should any image of or statement by me or my family members be used.

I agree that this release will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington. If any provision of this release is found to be invalid or unenforceable, then the remainder of this release will have full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be modified, or partially enforced, to the maximum extent permitted by Washington State law.

I CERTIFY THAT I AM AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AND THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND IT, AND CONSENT TO THE TERMS OF THIS LIABILITY RELEASE AND WAIVER.
I accept the waiver agreement.
