Our Founder, Maria Maltby Love always held a deep concern for the health and welfare of others; and for 120 years, our Board of Directors have hosted the Maria Love Charity Ball to raise important funds for the people of Erie County with convalescent care needs. This we mark our 120th Charity Ball on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Buffalo RiverWorks! We will host both a Middle School and High School dance and are delighted to welcome back DJ Yes and DJ Milk to energize our guests with music and entertainment throughout the evening!
The mission of the Maria Love Fund is to be a bridge to independence providing immediate financial assistance to the people of Erie County with convalescent care needs. Individuals are referred to us by the medical and social services communities, and every year we assist hundreds of Erie County residents by helping to pay for costly medicines, medical goods, transport to medical appointments, and the necessities of daily living which are not covered by insurance or other means.
Our fundraisers make a positive and critical impact in our community. Whether you are interested in a corporate sponsorship, or sponsoring a group of students to attend, your generous donation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of families throughout Erie County. The 120th Annual Charity Ball will be held at Buffalo RiverWorks on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM for Middle School children in grades 5-8; and from 8:00-10:00 PM for young adults' grades 9-12. We raise funds that are distributed directly to the Erie County community each month and annually through our Maria's Grant program. This year we will request submissions for grants up to $5,000. Match our grant through sponsorship knowing that you will double the community impact for a not-for-profit organization who provides medically related services in Erie County.
