What do I wear?

Business, business casual, and cocktail attire with comfort in mind. We want you to be comfortable and have FUN!

What is the flow of the evening?

5:30 PM - Registration, Check-In, and Cocktail Hour

Delicious appetizers you won't want to miss and pre-event entertainment!
 

6:30 PM - Call to Dinner

 

7:00 PM - The program begins with welcomes and introductions.

 

7:15 PM - Award Ceremony

We are excited to present our third annual Heart and Hope Awards to two peer-nominated NewPath team members.
As well as the second annual presentation of the Spark Award. Awarded to donors, volunteers, and NewPath supporters that have continuously ignited hope in collaboration with our organization.
 

7:30 PM - Spark of Hope

I don't want to give too much away but be prepared! It's incredibly heartfelt and speaks directly to YOUR impact and the ripple effect that each individual can make a difference.
 

8:00 PM Event Conclusion

You are invited to stay shortly after the event (the bar is open until 8:30 PM) to better enjoy the transition from event conclusion to heading home.


Where do I park?

The Garfield Garage is right next door to the reception hall (13 W 9TH ST, CINCINNATI, OH 45202). Parking in this garage will be FREE and covered by NewPath.

  • To Enter the Phoenix Handicap Accessible Entrance: Go to the elevators on the east side of the garage closest to the exit. When you exit the garage you will take a left onto Ninth Street. Then look for the black awning that says "The Phoenix" (elevator located inside).
  • To Enter The Phoenix Main Entrance: Go to the elevators on the east side of the garage. When you exit the garage, take a left onto Ninth Street, and then take another left on Race Street. Look for the black awning that says "The Phoenix" (staircase inside).


2023 Gala Parking

Where is check-in?

Enter The Phoenix through either the handicap accessible or main entrance. Follow the signage up to the second floor where cocktail hour and check-in is available.

  • Put a credit card on file with us for easy purchases and donations
  • Receive a text with a link that is your portal and will provide everything you need to know for the evening, including a running total of your donations and purchases
  • Receive your table assignment
  • (if applicable) Receive a token indicating to our wait staff that you chose a vegetarian meal
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
  • This is a credit card-only event. You will have the opportunity to put your card on file with us at check-in to make your giving and purchasing experience as smooth as possible! Payment information can also be updated before the event by clicking "MY INFO" on the event website.

 

What about drinks?

No need for drink tickets or your wallet, as we are hosting a fully open bar! The bars are available on the second floor during cocktail hour and the top floor during the remainder of the event.

How do I checkout?

There are two checkout options, self-checkout or assisted checkout.

  • For self-checkout, follow the text link sent to the mobile number associated with your account at the end of the evening, or visit the "PAY" link on the event website.
  • For assisted checkout, simply return to the registration table located in the carousel room, and a volunteer will help you checkout.
  • If you participated in the beverage pull or purchased a piece of student art and chose to pick it up at the end of the event, your purchase(s) will be available at the checkout table.
