2022 HONOREE: GREG FISH
Greg Fish, the son of an LAFD Fire Captain, was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. He began his career as a firefighter with the Glendale Fire Department. In 1998 he promoted to the position of Fire Captain. He steadily rose through the ranks and was eventually promoted to the position of Glendale Fire Chief. He retired from Glendale in September of 2018.
In October of 2018, Greg was appointed as the Fire Chief of the Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District. In his new position, he is heavily focused on the safety and well-being of his firefighters.
Greg earned his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University and his Masters in Public Administration from California State University, Northridge. Greg and his wife, Maureen, have four daughters, a son-in-law, a granddaughter and two grandsons.
