When and where is the Trivia Night & Auction?
Saturday, March 19, 7:00pm (6:25 for VIP reception) on Zoom.
Can I bid on items if I am not able to play trivia?
You need tickets for the VIP reception and for the trivia game. However, you do not need a ticket to bid on auction items.
We invite everyone to start bidding on a wide-range of amazing items, including our pre-auction items and party tickets. Although most items will be closing on Saturday evening during the Trivia Night, anyone can register and bid on our auction website, and you don't have to be present on Saturday night to win. Be sure to register ahead of time to receive updates on items. All auction proceeds support Deal, so bid early and often!
What if I am not able to buy a ticket this year but want to play Trivia?
Please email Principal Neal for a ticket.
Where do I pick up items I won at the auction?
We will have items available for pick up on Saturday, March 26 from 10-12pm at Deal (during the Deal 8th Gr. Community Project Fair). We can also coordinate pick up near Deal at another time. Email adcafundraising@gmail.com to coordinate.
Trivia and VIP Reception
Does each person in my house need a ticket to play trivia?
No, everyone in your house can play trivia with just the one zoom link.
What is the VIP reception?
Adults are invited to join us to learn about and make a Negroni with the expert bartender at I'm Eddie Cano. The receipton begins at 6:30 on March 19 and all ingredients are provided.
Where and when can I pick up my VIP reception drink kit?
Your VIP drink kit will be available for pick up at Deal from 1-3pm on Saturday, March 19. If you are unable to come during that window, please email adcafundraising@gmail.com for a late-afternoon pick up near Deal.
What technology do I need?
You will need to download Zoom to your laptop or phone.
When will I receive my Zoom link for Trivia and/or the VIP Reception?
The link will be emailed to you on Friday, March 18. We will send reminders via text and email on March 19. Contact adcafundraising@gmail.com if you do not receive it.
Who is writing the trivia questions?
We are partnering with District Trivia for this event. They are hard at work creating fun questions for the whole family.
Who will be on my team?
You will not know in advance, but if you have any special requests, please reach out to adcafundraising@gmail.com. We will do our best to honor them.
How can I know who else is on my child's Deal Team?
You can buy a Zoom Team background from your student's class on our auction website!
What if I really, really want Principal Neal on my Team?
You can bid for the opportunity to have Ms. Neal on your team. One lucky family will be guaranteed the coolest teammate on earth! Bidding opens Monday, March 14 and closes at 4pm on Saturday, March 19.
Auction Information
How does the auction work?
We will be using mobile bidding the night of the virtual event for our auction. You will be able to use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to keep up with the status of your bids and continue bidding until the auction closes. You can be the winning bidder wherever you are in the world!
When does bidding for the auction open?
Monday, March 14, 12pm
When does bidding for the auction close?
The "Big Deal" item will close at 8 pm on Saturday, March 19. All other items will close at and 8:15 pm.
How do I participate in the online bidding auction?
Get started online through this auction page. Just hit the 'Not Attending' button towards the top of this page and enter your name, phone number, e-mail. Credit Card information is required to bid.
How do I start and continue my bidding?
Browse the Auction and start bidding on your favorite items! Place your bid on selected items, set a maximum bid if desired, and we will continue to keep you in the running until you reach your maximum bid.
How can I keep active and know if I am outbid or have won an item?
You will be notified via text if you have been outbid. Keep an eye on your favorite items! If you are NOT receiving the text messages make sure you have the correct mobile number under your profile. The texts will continue to notify you when you have been outbid or reached your maximum bid. When the silent auction closes, you will also receive a text message if you won any items.
