Auction FAQs

What is the purpose of the auction?

Hosted by Solebury School's Home and School Association, the auction is our school's largest fundraising event and a fabulous evening that brings our entire community together. The auction supports educational programming, student activities, and facilities enhancements that benefit our entire school community.

What can I expect at the auction?

In addition to raffles and a wide range of silent and live auction items, Around the World: An Evening of Adventure will feature great food and drinks, live entertainment, and a festive atmosphere. Those who are not able to join us in person will still be able to participate in online bidding. Please note: Live Auction Items will only be available to in person attendees or by proxy. If you are not able to attend the auction on May 14, but are interested in bidding on one of these items, please contact us at auction@solebury.org.

What is the attire?

Partly Inspired by Jules Vernes' Around the World in 80 Days, the auction revels in the the spirit of travel and adventure! Attendees are invited to dress in chic, vintage travel attire. Otherwise, come dressed to celebrate!

In the interest of the health and wellness of our community, we respectfully ask that all attendees of on-campus gatherings at Solebury School be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
