How to Bid and Buy Auction Items

Silent Auction

If you have pre-registered, by purchasing a ticket to Raise the Roof, you will receive a message, either by text or email, that the Silent Auction has opened.  Just click the link and follow the instructions to begin bidding on your mobile device.  At the event, Silent Auction items will be described and displayed around the room.  Descriptions, details and restrictions (if any) for all Silent Auction items are also available on your mobile device.  Each item or package will have a unique number.  Refer to the guide on mobile bidding for instructions on how to place your bid using that number, or to browse by category.  Check your bids often to see if you have been outbid throughout the evening.  Bidders can also pay the "Buy It Now" price to instantly win the item and end the bidding.  During the Live Auction, the Auctioneer will announce the closing of the Silent Auction.  A countdown will signal the close of all sections simultaneously and the bidder with the highest bid will be declared the winner of that package.

Live Auction / Paddle Raise

The Live Auction will begin at approximately 8:30pm. The auctioneer will announce the Live Auction packages one-by-one and auctioned in the order listed.  Raise your paddle high to bid.  The highest bidder, as determined by the auctioneer, shall be declared the purchaser. 

Raffles Tickets

Raffle tickets are on sale online prior to the event, and at the benefit. To enter a raffle, drop your purchased ticket into the box for the item you hope to win.  Keep your stub and the winning ticket number for each item's raffle will be announced at the end of the Live Auction.

Teacher Playdates

Raffle tickets for Teacher Playdates are on sale prior to the event, and at the benefit. To enter the raffle to win a Teacher Playdate, drop your purchased ticket into the box associated with your child's classroom.  Keep your stub.  The winning ticket number for each Teacher Playdate will be announced on Friday through the Parent Association email.
