WRIGHTSVILLE AND WORLD RENOWNED, HANDCRAFTED BOND

Michael and Oz Nichols have become Frankie Lemmon and Triangle Wine & Food Experience staples. It is no exaggeration to say that they have had a huge impact on our school since they first got involved almost 10 years ago. The couple has shared that TWFE is their favorite time of year because they love tasting all the incredible wines and food throughout the weekend and knowing they are making a difference in children's lives.

Their generosity has also been incredibly inspiring and this year is no different! They have put together an exciting dinner for 28 people in Wrightsville Beach with Wilmington's James Beard-nominated chef Dean Neff and Max Kast of BOND on September 10, 2022.

Max Kast, a Master Sommelier and estate director at BOND, has developed a philosophy over his years of operating award-winning wine programs, managing territories for a boutique importer, and teaching wine classes around the country. Max believes wine is a beverage that can connect people and it can act as a universal language if presented with hospitality, humility, and inclusion. BOND offers a portfolio of wines that are diverse in their geographic representation and 'Grand Cru' in quality. Many here today have known Max for years. He has been a North Carolinian for a long time and is moving soon to sunny California.

Dean Neff calls Wilmington home, specifically Seabird! Dean's creative yet accessible approach to local food Eastern North Carolina with a sophisticated appreciation for seasonality is what has earned him a place among the best of the best. Dean has built his career in food around leadership and support of the Wilmington, NC community while gaining national attention as a culinary leader.
