Get Your Walking Shoes On! The annual Norwood Park Walk-a-Thon is coming - Friday, October 22nd! This is your chance to have fun with your friends, get fit, and help continue making this a great year for Norwood! With everyone's help, we can make the Panther Walk-a-Thon a fun day for the whole school.

The funds students raise will support the PTO's initiatives, and will go towards sports jerseys, recess equipment, NPS community events, and other needs of the school. Our goal this year is to raise $10,000! That's a BIG number but with your support we can achieve anything! In fact, if each student is able to meet the challenge of raising $25 or more in donations, we will have achieved our fundraising goal.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The process is simple. Students will ask people to be "Sponsors."

Sponsorship is a single donation and not based on laps or minutes walked. "Sponsors" are those lovely folks who agree to donate money for your participation as a walker in the Walk-a-Thon.

They may be friends, family, neighbors, and parents' co-workers or business associates. Please do not go door-to-door unless you have an adult with you.

2) Create a GiveSmart account or log into an existing account to begin
2) Continue on to create your fundraising page. Name your page and set your personal fundraising goal.
3) Personalize your page! Add a photo and custom message. When you're ready, click 'Request Approval' at the top of the screen in the yellow banner
4) Share your link with your friends and family!
