FAQ's

Q: When does the auction close?

A: Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 8:30 pm.

Q: Did I win? How do I pay for my items?

A: Upon the auction closing, all winners will receive a text/email notification, as well as a link to settle their balance with the card on file or by entering another. Please contact Andrea Devenney at adevenney@laurel-house.org  for alternative payment options. If payment has not been received by May 13, 2022, the card on file will be charged. Once the auction closes, we cannot respond to phone calls/emails that day. Any messages will be responded to on Tuesday the 17th.

Q: Can I return items I don't like after I receive them?

A: All sales are final.

Q: Are my winning items tax deductible?

A: If you win an auction item, you may be able to deduct a portion of your purchase price that exceeds the item's Fair Market Value (FMV). The estimated suggested tax deductible amount is calculated by subtracting the FMV from the winning bid price. All FMV are approximate. Please consult your tax advisor.

Q: How will I receive my winning items?

A: Winners who live within a 15-mile radius of Laurel House's Administration Office (180 W. Germantown Pike, East Norriton) will have their items delivered. Winners must be home for delivery. Winners will be contacted to coordinate drop off. Winners can arrange item pick up from Laurel House's Administration Office. When feasible, gift cards/certificates will be email/mailed. For winners outside the radius and/or who cannot arrange delivery, Laurel House will contact you to arrange payment for shipping & handling.

If picking up items from Laurel House's Administration Office, a form of identification must be presented to claim your winnings. If you are unable to pick up your items & would like someone else to pick your items, you must notify Andrea Devenney at least 24 hours in advance of pick up.

**Alcoholic Items - winners must be 21 years of age or older to win. These items are pick-up only from the Laurel House Administrative Office. Proper identification is required at time of pick up. Laurel House reserves the right to cancel the sale if identification is not provided.
