Jennifer and Rob Macalik

Jennifer and Rob Macalik were married in 2019. They currently reside in the White Rock Lake area of Dallas with Rob's three children Henry, Helena, and Emelia and their 2 rescue dogs Aggie and Patty. Jennifer has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University is currently the Director of Reporting and Analytics at Frito-Lay North America. Rob went to The University of Texas at Austin and is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Matador Resources, a publicly traded oil and natural gas company.

Jennifer's introduction to MS was through the Houston to Austin Bike MS ride in 1998 as a training ride for her summer bike trip across Europe. She continued to participate in Bike MS rides for several years but in 2006 the ride became personal when her stepbrother was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS at 30 years old. He lives in Florida and worked in hospitality; he was single with no medical insurance. The information available from the MS society helped identify resources he could access. She connected him with his local NMSS chapter where he found available support options.

Rob was introduced to MS through his current role where he has two close colleagues, one who is living with MS and the other whose wife is living with MS. When Jennifer and Rob met, they jumped right into the fight against MS by riding the Dallas Bike MS, participating in Meat Fight events, and supporting both the Yellow Rose Gala and the On the Move Luncheon. Rob and Jennifer are honored to be chairing a successful event this year!

Rob and Jennifer are encouraged by the increased awareness and all the medical advancements occurring with MS.  They will continue to raise awareness and do everything they can so that a cure is found quickly.
