Start the celebration early by joining Columbia Wineries sommelier, Shelly Fitzgerald, for a complimentary wine tasting and history of wines class. Learn about old world and new world wines while sipping on a custom tasting and savoring international tapas. Offered exclusively to VIP ticket holders starting at 5:30pm.
Shelly Fitzgerald of Columbia Winery is a wine expert who specializes in creating authentic wine education classes and experiences for all group sizes. She has worked in the wine industry; in restaurants, retail, and education for more than two decades, and is a Certified Sommelier (CS), Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), American Wine Expert (AWE), and WSET Level 4 Diploma student. Shelly has delivered wine education classes for thousands of casual and serious wine aficionados and was recently named as "one of the state's most approachable wine educators" by Tasting Room Magazine. Shelly is also a wine judge and expert contributor to Passport to Woodinville. Most recently, she has been featured in Costco Connection, Tasting Room Magazine, as well as judging for The Tasting Panel.

Dress to impress! Most ladies wear either a cocktail dress or evening gown and men wear a suit or a tux. - Where should I park?
Complimentary parking at Columbia Winery will be available for all guests. - How many seats are at each table?
Each table comfortably sits 8 people. - What time does the event begin?
The VIP Reception will begin at 5:30pm and will open up for Cocktail Hour at 6:30pm. - Where should I stay?

Yes! When you purchase your ticket, please ask for any special dietary requests. You can also email maxgala@themaxfoundation.org with your request. - Should I wear a mask? Do I need to bring my vaccination card?
