Get excited for the Dessert Dash! 

A beloved St. Charles tradition, at our Dinner & Auction this Saturday we will have a beautiful Dessert Dash table filled with a variety of tempting treats which were donated by supporters of our event.

When you and your tablemates arrive at your dinner table at the Auction, each table member has the opportunity to add their bid to the table's Dessert Dash Bidder sheet.  The total amount of your table's Dessert Dash Bid will determine where your table will fall in the Dessert Dash selection order.  At dessert time, a representative from the table with the highest total bid gets to dash up and select their dessert first, then the second highest, and so on.  Be sure to bid high so you get one of the first choices!  


In the meantime, it's not too early for you to start thinking about what your table will have for dessert!   Check out the descriptions below of the fabulous desserts that will be featured in this year's Dessert Dash!

 

 

Mocha Truffle Cheesecake by Melissa Kempen: True decadence! Enjoy a rich chocolate espresso crust filled with chocolate espresso cheesecake filling, topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.


Nut-Free Carrot Cake (Gluten Free) by Terrie Carew: Delicious and distinctive carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Coconut is used in place of nuts to create texture and delicious flavor.   


Red Velvet Bundt Cake by Nothing Bundt Cakes: This scarlet batter of velvety rich cocoa pays homage to its traditional southern heritage. Every cake is baked with delicious chocolate chips.


Chocolate Layer Torte by Christine Kujak: Layers of rich chocolate cake are balanced with a sweet and light cream cheese frosting, finished with raspberries and chocolate curls for a delicious treat. 


Layered Chocolate and Yellow Cake by Jenni Haas: Fulfill your craving for both chocolate and vanilla with this delicious cake! One layer is chocolate and the other is yellow cake with tasty buttercream between the layers and covering the outside.  


White Chocolate Raspberry Bundt Cake by Nothing Bundt Cakes: Scrumptious white chocolate cake swirled with the finest raspberry puree. Fluffy, moist, and ever so good.


Better Than Everything Cake by Creole Café in Hartland: This mouth-watering treat is a moist chocolate cake topped with caramel, chocolate, and English toffee pieces. Yum! 


Banana Pudding Jars by Amy Ferguson: Take your taste buds on a journey to the south with this yummy, homemade banana pudding in a jar. Of course, there are Nilla Wafers in there! It wouldn't be banana pudding without them. 


Dozen Assorted Cookies by Crumbl Cookies: If you've never had a Crumbl Cookie, now is the time to try one! These cookies are soft, gooey, and delectable. Eat a whole one or cut them in portions and sample all the flavors with your tablemates. 


Fruit Tarts by Anne Pardee: Who can resist a buttery, pecan shortbread crust topped with a cream cheese filling, fresh fruit, and a citrus glaze? Let the drooling begin! 


Assorted Cake Truffles by Milli Wonka Treats in Hartland: Dive into this assortment of homemade cake truffles in a variety of delicious flavors. They are as delicious as they are beautiful! 


Breakup Cake by The Picnic Basket in Nashotah: Rich, chocolate cake is covered in caramel and butterscotch sauce, cool whip, and crumbled toffee Heath Bar. Enough said! 


Crème Brulee by Amy Ferguson: Enjoy this classic treat of rich, vanilla custard topped with a crispy, hardened sugar layer. It's simple, yet elegant and tasty! 


Schaum Torte by Judie Fiducci: You're curious, aren't you? The Schaum Torte is a specialty dessert from WI which came from Germany and Austria. This torte is filled with Chantilly Cream: whipped cream and vanilla with delicious, sweet pineapple. The dessert is made of egg whites, sugar, vinegar, salt and vanilla beaten until high peaks form. It is then baked at a very low temp and left to dry overnight. A few hours before serving, the top is lifted and the schaum is topped with the Chantilly Cream and fruit and then topped with the torte pieces. It is then chilled until serving. As you can tell, a lot of time and love went into this dessert! 


Ambrosia Cheesecake by Kathleen Nawrocki:  Sinfully rich, delicious, and wonderfully fattening cheesecake with an assortment of fruits to please the eye. It's time to forget the calories and let loose with this luscious and yummy dessert! 


Dessert Tray by Albrecht's Sentry in Delafield: A delicious assortment of bite-sized dessert bars, tarts, petit fours, brownies, and cupcakes.  


Hope Grows Here Theme Cake, plus French Macarons by LoLo Loves Cakes/donated by Megan Williams: Rich, dark chocolate cake with an espresso almond buttercream icing and fresh raspberries embody this beautiful cake. As if that wasn't enough, each couple gets a gift box of 2 macarons to take home and enjoy! 


Chocolate Covered Strawberry Tart by Katelyn Gomez: This decadent chocolate tart, filled with a delicious strawberry cream filling and adorned with dark chocolate covered strawberries, is sure to satisfy any chocolate lovers sweet tooth! 


Cheesecake by Simma's Bakery/donated by Jessica Bruss: Their classic award winning cheesecake has a scrumptious chocolate cake bottom, a thin layer of raspberry filling and is covered with a blanket of chocolate ganache. 


Homemade Brownies by Nelda D'Amour: Delicious homemade brownies with chocolate chips, sprinkled with powered sugar on top. A true classic and yummy dessert! 


Brownies and Cookies by The Pink Mocha Café in Hartland: Sample an assortment of rich chocolate brownies and various tasty cookies made by Heidi Nugent at Pink Mocha. They are sure to be delicious! 


Charcuterie Board by Jamie Knoebel: Step outside the box and enjoy a tasty assortment of 33 cheeses, charcuterie, special garnishes, sweets, and crackers sourced from artisan small-batch producers from around the world. This one will hit all of your taste buds! 


Signature Cheese Torte by Sweet Perfections/Donated by Lisa Kopfer: A layer of delicately baked vanilla cheesecake, rich and silky smooth, is smeared with red raspberry puree and placed between two layers of rich chocolate cake. For that finishing touch, it is wrapped in their signature vanilla buttercream and garnished with raspberry puree and chocolate decors.


Chocolate Pistachio Mousse Cake by Nancy Eberhardy: Delicious chocolate cake with a decadent pistachio mousse between the layers all topped with a rich chocolate ganache. Yum!


Vanilla Strawberry Cake by Lori Trapp: Top tier vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and strawberry filling.  Bottom tier vanilla cake with buttercream frosting.
