What is HOPE Network for Single Mothers?
HOPE Network connects single mothers with resources and opportunities to build self-reliance and strong families. Since 1982, HOPE Network has been committed to finding ways for single mothers to connect with one another and with the community. HOPE Network membership offers a variety of opportunities to enrich both single moms and their children's lives, for just $5 a year!

What is WALK WITH HOPE?
Walk With HOPE is a virtual 5K fundraising walk. In a virtual walk, there is no physical event so you can choose to walk at a time and location that is convenient to you.
Is there a registration fee to WALK WITH HOPE?
There is a suggested registration fee of $25 per person, which is a tax-deductible donation. If you are not able to donate $25 when you register, you can make a donation of a lesser amount or even make no donation at all. We encourage you to set up a fundraising page to ask family, friends, coworkers and others to support your efforts with their own donation.
How do I create my own fundraising page?
On the main event page, click the button "CREATE MY OWN FUNDRAISING PAGE". You can then create an account, set a fundraising goal and add to your story. The story is where you can share why you Walk With HOPE - what is your personal reason for supporting HOPE Network? For example, are you (or were you raised by) a single mom? You can even add photos to your custom page!
To invite others to make donations to your page, just give them the fundraising page URL. All donations are tax-deductible and support programs for single moms!
How do I create a team?
Once you've created your fundraising page, add the names of your team members to the story section of the page. You can also talk about your team and even add a team photo! Give your team members the fundraising page URL to share with their own contacts.
Note that only one user account can be associated with the fundraising page. Only the person who created the page can access it and make updates, but everyone can share the URL and collect donations for the team!
Do I have to fundraise to participate in WALK WITH HOPE? Can I just make a donation?
Fundraising is not required. However, we encourage you to make a donation to support HOPE Network's mission to help single mothers.
What if I don't meet my fundraising goal?
No worries, you can set your fundraising goal to any amount.
Can someone make a donation by cash or check?
Please contact admin@hopenetworkinc.org to make a donation by cash or check.
When should I walk?
We encourage you to Walk With HOPE the week leading up to Mother's Day - May 3-9, 2021. You can walk all 5k in one day or spread it throughout the week.
How and when will I receive my WALK WITH HOPE t-shirt?
Event t-shirts will be distributed at the HOPE Network office on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. There is a $10 fee to have t-shirts mailed. More information will be emailed to event participants.
Are sponsor opportunities available?
