Jazmine Penelope is an artist and the Outreach Coordinator at The Clay Studio of Missoula. She jumps between many mediums but is predominantly a mud-loving clay enthusiast (who does not like to get wet). She lives in Missoula, Montana with her three cats and mud-loving partner, Lee Stuurmans. She loves to explore the fraught idea that humans and nature are one and the same. When she is not making art, or working on behalf of it, she enjoys the outdoors in all its forms.

Lee Stuurmans has made many convincing sounding arguments while driving alone in his car. Lee suspects this behavior helps him cope with the apparent and abhorrent meaninglessness of his existence, as if to look into the screaming mouth of futility and say "I'm the guy that gets it" knowing full well that he is really just the guy who drives around talking to himself. I have been instructed by Lee, however, to never divulge this information to anyone, but as my relationship with Lee has soured with age, I no longer see the utility in honoring his request.
