At this free virtual event park supporters can tune in to hear about recent successes in Voyageurs National Park projects and programs. Special keynote speaker Kevin Hainline will help us reconnect with each other through the stars and leave you with ways to take in the night sky and its cultural past like never before. Attendees will also have the opportunity to invest in the protection of Minnesota's national park.

Guests will enjoy a special presentation by Kevin Hainline who will help us reconnect with each other through the stars and leave you with ways to take Voyageurs National Park's night sky and its cultural past like never before. Kevin is a nationally-recognized astronomer, educator, tour guide to the night sky, and a James Webb Space Telescope NIRCam scientist
Special Speaker: Anton Treuer
Anton Treuer (pronounced troy-er) is Professor of Ojibwe at Bemidji State University and author of many books. His equity, education, and cultural work has put him on a path of service around the region, the nation, and the world. Dr. Treuer will share a traditional Ojibwe star story with audience members.


Voyageurs National Park Project Updates
Voyageurs National Park Superintendent, Bob DeGross, and Voyageurs Conservancy's Executive Director, Christina Hausman Rhode, will share major park updates and successes - including the prestigious Dark Sky Park Certification! Guests will hear from multiple park staff members and get an inside look at the major conservation, restoration, and education projects taking place at our beloved national park!
