How can I make a donation?
You can donate at anytime on the event site or at www.nfid.org/donate
Can I donate via text?
Yes, text "Give" and the amount to 76278 to donate. For example, you would text "Give 250" to 76278 to donate $250
How do I attend the virtual Gala?
You may join the program directly at: http://e.givesmart.com/events/jgv/page/live/ on December 14, 2020 at 6:00 PM ET.
The program will begin promptly at 6:00 PM ET and all registered attendees will receive an email/text message with the link on the day of the Gala as a reminder
How do I register for the Gala?
Visit the event site at https://nfidawards.givesmart.com. Click the "RSVP" button, select your ticket type(s) and quantity, and "Checkout"
Can I register someone else?
Yes, follow the above steps to register then update the Attendee information if different from the "Purchaser"
What type of device should I use to join the Gala?
You can participate in the event and silent auction from a computer, tablet, or phone
If viewing on a phone, switching to a horizontal orientation will provide the best viewing experience
Is this a Zoom meeting?
No, the event will be livestreamed via a platform that does not require any downloads or plug-ins
Can I share on social media?
Yes, please share online and be sure to tag NFID and use #NFIDawards
How do I participate in the silent auction?
After you sign in to your GiveSmart account, click "ITEMS" at the top of the page to view the available items and begin bidding; select the item you wish to bid on, then enter your bid in the open text field (make sure it is higher than the current minimum amount) and click "Bid"
If you have opted in to receive text messages, you will receive a text if you are outbid
When does the silent auction close?
The 2020 NFID Awards Gala silent auction will close on December 14, 2020 at 11:59 PM ET
If I place a successful bid, how will I get my items?
If your bid is successful, you will receive an email with information on redeeming the item redemption; items may either be emailed or mailed to the address specified
For mailed items, we appreciate your patience as shipping carriers are currently experiencing delays due to high demand
How does Checkout work?
You can securely checkout on your own by selecting the PAY tab, to pay your balance at any time
A text with the link to pay will also be sent to all users with a balance on file at the end of the auction; any unpaid balances will be charged to the card on file on December 16, 2020 at 12:00 PM ET (to arrange alternate form of payment, please contact awards@nfid.org before then)
