Q: What COVID-19 precautions have been made for the in-person events?
We will follow all COVID-19 procedures in place at the time of the events. As of right now, we will be limiting the number of tickets to the cocktail events on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24 to 75 attendees to ensure proper social distancing and adequate space for everyone to be seated while eating. We will update this website if anything changes.
Q: If I do not feel comfortable attending an in-person event, what options are there?
Please see our take-home options if you'd like to enjoy a delicious meal from the comfort of your home while viewing and bidding on the available auction items. You can also participate in the virtual auction and raffle (more information below).
ABOUT THE VIRTUAL AUCTION AND RAFFLE
Q: How do I participate in the virtual auction?
All auction and raffle items will be available for preview on this website starting Friday, March 26. Either click the "Items" tab in the top left corner or click "VIEW ITEMS" or "REGISTER TO BID" on the Home page to view available auction and raffle items. The virtual auction will open for bidding on Friday, April 23, 9:00 am and will close Saturday, April 24, 9:00 pm. All bidders will automatically be notified if they won or were outbid. Q: How do I receive notifications about certain auction items?
By registering to bid, you can opt to receive text message updates about the auction. To receive notifications about certain items, select the item on the auction page, and then select "Watch This Item" under the image.
Q: Can I view the auction items prior to the event weekend?
Yes! All auction and raffle items will be available for preview on the event website starting Friday, March 26, and in-person at the Museum from April 20-23 between the hours of 10:00am and 4:30pm.
Q: How will I receive my auction purchase?
If you are attending the Saturday, April 24 cocktail event, you can pickup your artwork after the auction ends at 9:00pm from the Museum's main entrance desk. All other auction items must be picked up at the Greenville Museum of Art during open hours (Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00am - 4:30pm), starting April 27. Any exception to this will be contacted about a shipping and handling fee and there will be a shipping delay of three weeks following the event.
Q: Is there a raffle item this year? How do I participate?
Yes! We are raffling off a beautiful emerald necklace from Bailey's Fine Jewelry. All auction and raffle items are available by clicking "VIEW ITEMS" under the Virtual Auction and Raffle section on the Home page or by clicking "Items" in the top left corner. Raffle tickets are $25 for 1 or $100 for 5. We will announce the winner at 9:00pm on Saturday, April 24. TICKET AVAILABILITY
Q: What are the ticket prices for GMoA members?
Tickets for the cocktail events and take-home meals are $75 for GMoA members and $100 for non-members.
Q: Do I need separate tickets for each event?
Yes. Click the "Home" tab in the top left corner, then "PURCHASE TICKETS" to check ticket availability and purchase tickets.
Q: Can I attend both in-person events?
Absolutely! If tickets are still available, you can attend all three events.
Q: Even if I attend an in-person event, can I still purchase tickets for the take-home dinner option?
Yes! Since the take-home dinner option will be different than the meal options offered at the in-person events, we encourage you to enjoy the additional menu.
Q: Can I purchase tickets at the door?
No. Because we are limiting the number of tickets sold for each event and guests must be seated at their tables when eating, it is essential that you purchase your tickets in advance, so we do not oversell tickets.
Q: Where can I purchase tickets?
On this website. Click the "Home" tab in the top left corner, then "PURCHASE TICKETS" under the event information.
Q: Are there additional transaction fees?
Transaction fees will NOT be automatically charged to you, but when checking out, you can opt to cover these charges to help the Museum's costs of using the event website platform.
