When is the event?

After Dark is on Thursday, September 24 at 7 PM. The Silent Auction opened on Thursday, September 17 and will close on Sunday, September 27.

 

Can I view the event on my TV?

Yes! In addition to being accessible on this site, the event is also being streamed through Metro Theater Company's YouTube channel, which makes it easy to view from your preferred device.

When will the Silent Auction close?

The Silent Auction is currently open for bidding. It will close at 11:59 PM on Sunday, September 27.

 

How do I place a bid?

To place a bid:

  1. Click on the "Items" tab on the event site.
  2. Click on an item's picture to view its description.
  3. If you have not yet registered, click the pink "Register Now" button.
  4. Once you are registered, enter the amount you would like to bid. The bid amount will automatically display as the minimum bid increment unless modified. Click the green "Bid" button to process your bid.
  5. If you would like to set up Auto Bidding, select the "Auto Bid" tab. Enter the maximum amount you would like to bid on the item. The GiveSmart system will automatically place bids for you up to that amount.

Please note: you will receive text alerts letting you know when you have been outbid. If you are the highest bidder when the auction closes at 11:59 PM on Sunday, September 27, you will be prompted to check out. Development Associate Lauren Brooks will contact you by phone or email to coordinate the delivery of any purchased items.

 

How do I make a donation?

To make a donation:

  1. Go to the event Homepage and scroll down to the "Donate Now" section.
  2. Select the amount you would like to give or enter a custom amount where it says "Other."
  3. Select whether or not you would like your donation to be anonymous by checking the "Hide donation from everyone but the organizer" box.
  4. Enter your payment information or sign into your account.
  5. Check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  6. Select whether you would like to pay the transaction fee so that even more money goes toward Metro Theater Company's mission.
  7. Click the green "Donate" button to process your donation.

Donations can also be made through the "Items" tab or "Donate" tab on the event site. Click through the different donation amounts to learn how your gift could make a difference to the lives of young people in St. Louis.

 

How do I register?

To register to make donations or place bids:

  1. Click either the grey "Register Now" button on the homepage or the pink "Sign In or Register" button in the upper right corner of the event site.
  2. Enter your information.
  3. Create a username with letters and numbers only and at least 3, but no more than 30 characters.
  4. Create a password with at least 6 chars, 1 uppercase, 1 number, and 1 special (!@#$%^&*)
  5. Check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  6. Check the box to opt into text message notifications. Highly recommended to get the full event experience!

 

How do I add my payment information?

To add payment information:

  1. First register to create an account. See above for additional details on how to register.
  2. Click on the "My Info" tab.
  3. Click "Add Card on File."
  4. Enter your card information into the secure payment platform.
  5. Click "Add Card."

 

How do I view my transactions? 

To view transactions in a registered account:

  1. Click on the "Pay" tab. This will show you all purchases, transaction fees, and taxes. You will be able to see what has already paid and what payments are still pending.
  2. To download your transactions, click the pink "Download My Statement" button.
  3. For a digital receipt, click pink "Send Statement Link to My Email" button.
