Sweepstakes tickets are $20.00 each and can be purchased online or in the Christ the King Church Office. Christ the King Parishioners who received tickets in the mail can return those in the envelope provided or drop them off at the church office.
Drawing will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 during the Rome Sweet Home Virtual Event. Winner need not be present to win and is responsible for all applicable taxes.
Rome Sweet Home Italian Festival Sweepstakes Official Rules
- Sponsor. The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Christ the King Catholic Church, 5937 SW 25th Street, Topeka, KS 66614, 785-273-0710.
- Method of Entry. Participants may enter the Sweepstakes by completing an entry ticket, provided by Christ the King Church. Entry tickets are $20.00 each.
- Time Period. The Winner will be selected by random drawing on September 26, 2020. The Winner need not be present to win.
- Eligibility. The Sweepstakes is open to any persons who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
- Odds. The odds of winning the Sweepstakes will depend upon, without limitation, the total number of completed and validly submitted entries.
- Prize. The winner of the Sweepstakes will receive $10,000 in the form of a check from Christ the King Church. If less than 750 tickets are sold, the $10,000 cash prize will be prorated with the prize amount calculated by multiplying the number of tickets sold by $13.33.
- Winner Notification and Acceptance. A representative from Christ the King Catholic Church will promptly notify the Winner by telephone. The Winner must confirm acceptance of his or her Prize within 72 hours of notification. If a Winner does not confirm acceptance of his or her prize within the required time frame, a new Winner will be selected.
- General Terms and Conditions. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Participant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, its agents and representatives, from any and all claims, charges, injuries, liability, loss or misdirection with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any entry that is incomplete or incorrect, or for any failures, errors or delays with respect to submission of any entry. Any attempt by any Participant to deliberately interfere with or manipulate the Sweepstakes may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and may result, among other things, in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserves the right, without prior notice and at any time, to terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, or to modify the Sweepstakes, should any factor interfere with the Sweepstakes as contemplated by these Official Rules or if Sponsor believes that the Sweepstakes has been or will be compromised in any way. Sponsor reserves the right to void any entry submitted for a Prize, if it believes such entry was submitted other than as contemplated by these Official Rules.
- Verification. All Sweepstakes entries and any other Sweepstakes materials are subject to verification by Sponsor.
