Domestic Violence Tax Credit for Fund the Need Donations
The state of Missouri offers a special Domestic Violence Tax Credit to everyone who donates $100 or more at the Night for Hope and Healing Fund the Need.
What is it?
The Missouri Domestic Violence Shelter Tax Credit allows a donor to give from $100 to $100,000 per calendar year. You may still take a regular charitable deduction in calculating federal income taxes.
How does a tax credit differ from a charitable deduction?
A tax credit is a deduction directly off what you owe in taxes to the State of Missouri during a taxable year. You may still take a regular charitable deduction in calculating federal income taxes. Even if you are not able to itemize deductions on your Federal Income Tax return, you are still eligible for the Tax Credit.

*Please note that tax brackets are subject to change and actual amount may vary slightly.
