SPONSORSHIPS, TICKETS, ADS, TRIBUTES

How do I purchase a sponsorship or ticket?

To purchase a sponsorship or ticket, visit herogala.givesmart.com and click on "Sponsorships and Ticket Options". Choose the appropriate ticket level and complete payment information. You will receive an email receipt as well as the welcome text, if provided. Sponsorship and tickets may also be purchased by mailing a check made payable to "National Liberty Museum" to 321 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

What if I don't know the names of my guests?

Not a problem! An NLM employee will contact you prior to the gala to request names and email addresses for your guests. 

How do I purchase an ad or tribute? 

To purchase an ad or tribute for our digital and printed Gala Catalogue, visit herogala.givesmart.com and click on "Sponsorships and Ticket Options". Scroll down to the bottom of the order form, choose your ad and tribute selection, and complete payment information. You will receive an email and text receipt, if provided. Ads and tributes may also be purchased by mailing a check made payable to "National Liberty Museum" to 321 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106. Ad and tribute specifications can be found here or email bpurcell@libertymuseum.org

When will I be charged? Do I need to register my credit card?

Once completing the payment section, your credit card will be charged. If you would like to schedule a different form of payment, please email concierge@libertymuseum.org If you are planning to participate in the auction, registering your credit card will expedite the checkout process. Registering a card is not necessary to bid.

LIVESTREAM/GALA EXPERIENCES

When is the NLM Gala livestream?

Saturday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m.

When will I receive the link to join the livestream?

All registered attendees and guests will receive a gala reminder email which will include the zoom link and password. 

How do I join the gala livestream?
To enjoy the gala, follow the provided link and join the event via the Zoom platform. For questions or technical issues, please contact concierge@libertymseum.org

I'm a sponsor of the gala. Which event experience will I be joining?

As a sponsor, you will join the cocktail creation room featuring virtual cocktail demonstrations provided by Sazerac. Prior to the gala, you will receive a Gala Giftbox including the bourbon spirit and an exclusive drinking glass created by glass artist Will Dexter.

When will the live auction occur during the livestream?

The live auction will take place via the zoom link you will receive for the livestream event, and will occur while guests are enjoying the virtual gala experiences. To view the live auction, you will leave your experience and join the virtual auction zoom room. However, you do not need to be in the auction zoom room to bid. Virtual bidding can happen via mobile or desktop bidding. To learn more about how to bid, please view.

AUCTION

Will there be a silent auction?

Yes. All silent auction items will open on Monday, September 21 at 10 a.m. EST through the GiveSmart bidding platform. You may set a maximum bid that will enter successive bids automatically; you will receive text and e-mail notification if you are outbid. You can preview pieces prior to September 21 at herogala.givesmart.com 

Will there be a live auction?

Yes. As part of the 2020 NLM virtual gala, guests will be able to participate in the live auction via a mobile device or desktop computer. Bidding in the live auction will take place on the online bidding platform, GiveSmart, just like the silent auctions. There will be a delay between the time you place your bid through the online bidding site and the live streaming video feed. If you are actively bidding, you will receive texts with live bidding information and a reminder when the item will close. 

How do I bid in a virtual silent and live auction?

To bid, you will need a mobile device or a desktop computer. To participate, you must register via our online bidding platform at herogala.givesmart.com. You will receive detailed instructions leading up to the event. You can also read about virtual bidding here or watch a helpful video . Also, if you would like to bid separately from other household members, please request a separate bidder number by emailing concierge@libertymuseum.org 

Are there any fees?

Yes. All purchases are subject to a 12% auction fee that includes tax, administrative fees, and processing fees. Shipping costs will be calculated following the virtual gala, and are dependent on if the item(s) will be shipped, installed, or picked up at the museum. Additionally, select gala sponsors receive complimentary shipping as part of their benefit package. 

I won an item. How do I checkout?

Congratulations on winning a silent or live auction item! After the virtual gala closes on October 10, NLM staff will review all bids and guests will receive an email and text alerting them that their invoice is ready for payment. Guests can either pay through the Pay link on their text/email, or they can email concierge@libertymuseum.org to schedule a time to checkout. If you would like to participate in self-checkout, but need to edit the card you have on file with out online bidding software, please contact concierge@libertymuseum.org. Please keep invoices for your records.

Shipping and Pick-Up

Guests will have the option to either ship or pick-up their winning items. NLM staff will contact you following the gala to schedule and discuss shipping options. For pick-up, all items must be picked up at the National Liberty Museum, 321 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

Estimates of values and descriptions have been made based on information provided by the artists. Everything is sold "as is" and is subject to the conditions and restrictions stipulated in the catalog.
