Monday, May 25th
We're back with more fun and excitement for Week 2 of PROM: The Virtual Celebration! This week we're going to be diving deeper into our programs. Whatever you do, don't forget to check out our AUCTION. Here's your chance to support Best Buddies with critical funds to keep our programs working AND get a favorite item or experience to enjoy in these times of physical distancing. We're going to be adding a few more packages and trust us, they're going to be good.
Don't forget to pre-order your Best Buddies box filled with yummy goodies from Founding Farmers Restaurant Group with a portion of the proceeds coming back to support Best Buddies! The boxes will be delivered either May 26th or May 27th and available in the Founding Farmers Market & Grocery at the Farmers & Distillers (DC), Founding Farmers Tysons, Founding Farmers Reston Station, & Founding Farmers MOCO locations. Founding Farmers Restaurant Group offers contactless pick up and the boxes can also be delivered for a fee of $6.99.
Tuesday, May 26th
So you think friendships slow down for Best Buddies during the Quarantine? Think not, we have made 15 NEW virtual Citizens matches in the last few weeks. That's 38 more people who now have someone they're able to connect with and support. Today you're going to learn about one pair and how much this friendship has meant to them. Wednesday, May 27th
Today will be a nice reminder that Friendship isn't canceled, it's just virtual! Tune in to our Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube page starting at 12:00pm to learn more about our School Friendship chapters and how some of our student buddy pairs are staying connected even when they may be thousands of miles apart.
Clear your calendars for tonight and be ready to have some fun: Cocktails, Dinner and Music! Once you have that scrumptious Best Buddy Box you ordered, get ready for a fun lineup of entertainment! At 6:45pm our friends at Founding Farmers Restaurant Group will give a virtual bartending class to show the adults in the room how to make their Mint LimeAid in your box into a delightful cocktail; we'll also have a special message from Founding Farmers owner and Best Buddies friend, Dan Simons.
Then the main event starts at 7:00pm, get ready for some one-of-kind music! Join us for a live virtual concert with Todd Carey! This national recording artist and songwriter has millions of fans, has toured the county with upbeat and fun music, and has graciously donated his time to help Best Buddies really enjoy our PROM: The Virtual Celebration with a special concert just for you! Thursday, May 28th
Make sure you get in your last second bids because the AUCTION closes tonight at 8:00pm! We are so excited to share with you all of the exciting things that happened over the last two weeks and share our GRAND FUNDRAISING TOTAL! And every donation counts - please support these friendships and programs! Our donation pages will still stay open for a few more weeks. Thank you everyone for your support!

Thought we were finished? Not so fast - the celebration's not over yet! Tonight's the night to practice all your favorite TikTok dance moves while PROM favorite, DJ Neekola spins all the latest songs for you starting at 6:00pm! Whether you dress up or wear something a little more casual, we are so excited to wrap up PROM: The Virtual Celebration with YOU! Register for the Dance Party.
