When does the silent auction open and close?
The silent auction will open Friday, October 23rd at 5:00 pm EST and will close Sunday, November 1st at 5:00 pm EST.
Is a credit card required to participate in the silent auction?
Yes, a pre-registered credit card is required to begin bidding. The next bidder must bid higher than you to be successful. All winning bids are final. If you would like to complete payment through another method (i.e. - check), please contact info@arvf.org prior to the end of the auction on Sunday, November 1 at 5:00 PM EST. We accept all major credit cards.
All payments will be charged a transaction fee. By paying the transaction fee, you ensure more money goes to your organization's mission.
Is my purchase tax-deductible?
For tax purposes, regarding auction purchases, all contributions more than the fair market value of the item are tax-deductible as a gift to a charitable organization. ARVF encourages all donors and contributors to consult the appropriate IRS Revenue Ruling 67-246 and their tax consultant.
Can other bidders see my information?
No. Your information is private and no other users can see your bids or personal information.
How can I keep active and know if I am outbid or have won an item?
You will be notified via text if you have been outbid. Keep an eye on your favorite items! If you are NOT receiving the text messages, make sure you have the correct mobile number under your profile. The texts will continue to notify you when you have been outbid or reached your maximum bid. When the silent auction closes, you will also receive a text message and/or email if you won any items.
Are there restrictions for certain items?
Yes. For items containing alcohol, the bidder and winner must be 21 years of age or over.
What happens if I do not pay for my winning item(s)?
All balances must be paid in full before winning item(s) can be collected. Items left unpaid after seven days will be sold to the next highest bidder.
How will I collect my winnings?
Winning bidders may choose to have their item(s) shipped or may choose to pick-up item(s). For items you would like to be shipped, add the Flat Fee S&H ($5.00) at checkout after the auction closes. For full item collection information, click here.
What happens if I do not collect my winnings in any way?
Any item(s) left unclaimed after 30 days, without prior arrangements, will be sold and proceeds will go to the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation.
