  • Due to the current public health situation, ACAR leadership has shifted the auction to a virtual event only. To give everyone time to prepare for the new format, the online-only auction will be held May 19 - 21, 2020. If you've already purchased a ticket, you do not need to do anything at this time. ACAR staff will follow up with you as details become available. Stay tuned to this page, ACAR's website, social media and newsletter for details. 
  • Bidding will open May 19, 2020 at 12:00pm.
  • A live broadcast will be available for registered bidders on May 21, 2020, from 6:00 - 9:00pm.
  • Bidding and sales will close at 9:00pm on May 21, 2020. Winners will receive an email from ACAR staff to coordinate an appointment time to collect their winnings. 

Auction Rules

The RPAC Auction will open with pre-bidding on May 19, 2020, and close at 9:00 p.m. on May 21, 2020.

  • Only registered guests who are also members of a Realtor Association may bid, purchase items and/or register.You will be able to bid from home, but you must be registered with a ticket purchased.
  • All items you win must be picked up on designated dates. Staff will be on hand to assist and confirm your purchases. If you cannot pick up your items, arrangements must be made in writing authorizing another person to claim your item(s). 
  • All sales are final. Refunds will not be given on items or registration. ACAR is not responsible for cancelled or amended ticket/event dates. Should the item need to be shipped, the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.
  • Reservations for dinners, trips, sporting events, etc must be mutually arranged with the donor, unless otherwise specified, and are subject to availability.
  • ACAR believes all descriptions and commentary accompanying the auction items to be correct. However, ACAR makes no warranties or representations of any kind regarding the items or services provided.
  • Each bid is identified by name and bid number. The last and the highest qualified electronic bid entry at the close of the auction shall be the buyer of that item.
  • Each increase in bid must equal or exceed the bid increment shown within the item catalog.
  • In the event of a dispute or discrepancy concerning a winning bid, the decision of the auction judges shall be final.
  • Be prepared for checkout to begin approximately at 9:00 PM on May 21st. Full payment is required at the end of the auction. Payment may be made by cash (up to $100), personal check (made payable to RPAC), OR personal credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover).
  • Item pick-up will begin the week of June 1, 2020, by appointment only. Winning bidders will be contacted by Jamie McMillen or a designated ACAR staffer to confirm an appointment.

RPAC contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes. Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes. The amount suggested is merely a guideline and you may contribute more or less than the suggested amount. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal and the National Association of REALTORS or any of its state associations or local boards will not favor or disfavor any member because of the amount contributed. 70% of each contribution is used by your state PAC to support state and local political candidates. Until your state PAC reaches its RPAC goal 30% is sent to National RPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a; after the state PAC reaches its RPAC goal it may elect to retain your entire contribution for use in supporting state and local candidates.
