"Luv und Lee" by Max Graf von Schwerin - 14 inch x 17 inch, mixed media on paper 2018. Comes with mat. ONE OF A KIND.

"No matter if or where the wind comes from, if you look out for each other and work together as a team, you will succeed."

This drawing is inspired by HRCS's mission to support underserved kids and spreading the fascination for sailing after the artist attended a Tuesday morning race with HRCS. Hence, the picture features characteristic elements such as sails, waves and also the NYC skyline and the statue of liberty in the artist's signature style. It also shows various people looking at each other and in different ways, scanning their environment, looking for opportunities and threats in sailing and in life, individually and as a team interacting with humans and nature.

The artist Max Graf von Schwerin works and lives in Hamburg, Germany. 5 years ago, he developed his signature style, where he subconsciously draws one continuous line. By doing so, he is able to depict his impressions and emotions in a pure and unbiased way. It generates different emotions and reactions with different people and also changes depending on the circumstances in which it is viewed.
