The Wheels of Happiness Gala

In addition to the amazing performance of Full Radius Dance, the Gala will feature both, a live and silent auction. The live auction is headed by renowned live auctioneer and TV personality, George Franco. Both auctions feature amazing items such as vacation packages, sports tickets and memorabilia, hotel stays, paintings, and much more!

Attendees will enjoy a Latin Jazz band during the cocktail hour, while guests are bidding on the silent auction, followed by a plated dinner. After dinner, the live auction and raffles will take place. The night will end with a live DJ playing the best hits for everyone's enjoyment.

Wheels of Happiness is a registered 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2011 by Vincenzo Piscopo after suffering a life altering spinal cord injury. While hospitalized, he met Father Thomas, a priest from Uganda, who had suffered a similar injury. Father Thomas raised Vincenzo's awareness of the needs of people with disabilities in under-privileged areas of the world. Thanks to the support Vincenzo received from family, friends and co-workers his journey with spinal cord injury has been more bearable. As a way to pay it forward, Vincenzo founded "The Wheels of Happiness Foundation".

Wheels of Happiness (WOH) was created to help spinal cord injury survivors and people with mobility disabilities in disadvantaged areas of the world. WOH provides them with medical supplies, hygiene products, scholarships, psychological support and inspiration so they can become independent, reintegrate to society, and add value to their communities.

Since 2011 The Wheels of Happiness Foundation has:

• Delivered bags of medical and hygiene supplies to people with disabilities in Africa and South America
  
• Provided medical supplies and equipment to clinic serving children in Bamba, Kenya
  
• Supported the Momma Kennedy Foundation in Bamba, Kenya
  
• Paid tuition for kids with disabilities in Kenya
  
• Helped artist with quadriplegia in Kenya sell his paintings in the US
  
• Provided wheelchairs and equipment to children and adults with motor disabilities in Venezuela
  
• Provided funds for surgery to children with mobility limiting conditions
  
• Deliver beds to children with debilitating conditions who lacked proper place to rest
