Where is the event?
The event will take place on the stage of the Mary W. Sommervold Hall at the Washington Pavilion. Please enter through the South entrance (over by the dinosaurs and the WP café). Registration assistance and the social hour will be held in the lobby, and guests will enter the concert hall through through the hallway labeled "Orchestra Left."
Where do I park?
Parking in downtown Sioux Falls is free after 5:00pm. There is a parking garage right on the corner of 12th and Main, right across from the Pavilion. Additionally, if you are getting dropped off/picked up, there is a loading area on Main Avenue leading to the box office.
Please note: there is limited handicapped parking available downtown, please plan accordingly.
Where do I pick up tickets?
Good news, there are no physical tickets! Instead it is more like a "digital admission." You name and information is put on a list for your table, and all you have to do is check in with a volunteer or staff member when you get to the Pavilion lobby.
What is the dress code?
We recommend semi-formal attire. However, you are welcome to dress up as much as you please!
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes! The entrance into the building is a low angled ramp with automatic doors, all multi-stall restrooms on the 1st floor of the Pavilion have automatic doors and wheelchair accessible stalls. Staff and volunteers are also happy to assist with guiding you to your table.

How do I participate in the live auction?
The live auction is an in-person portion of the Gala. It will take place on the mainstage of the the Mary W. Sommervold Hall in the latter half of the evening.
Every ticket holder will be assigned a bid paddle number. Please check in with the Registration table to the left of the entrance to grab your paddle and participate!
How do I participate in the online/silent auction?
All you need is a device of your choice and the ability to register on Givesmart--our online auction platform. You can see more on how to do that here: Instructions
I'm not attending the event, but can I still participate in the online auction or donate online?
Absolutely! All you need to do is register on Givesmart and make sure your payment information added to your account.
If you don't want to pay by card, you are also welcome to donate to the cause before the event by sending a check to the SDSO.
