Established in 1921, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is a bi-state agency responsible for some of the nation's most important transportation and trade infrastructure.

Its network includes major airports, bridges and tunnels, PATH rail, bus terminals, marine facilities, and the World Trade Center campus-connecting people, businesses, and communities across the region and the world.

Queens is home to critical Port Authority infrastructure, including John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport. These gateways help connect the borough's residents, institutions, businesses, and visitors to the broader region and the world.
