What is the BrightStone Golf Benefit?
The Jim Hinton Memorial Golf Benefit is BrightStone's premier annual fundraising event. It brings together golfers, sponsors, and community members for an elite day on the course, with proceeds directly funding BrightStone's educational, vocational, and residential programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
How do I play?
Choose the option that works best for you - play through sponsorship or rally your network through fundraising.
Pathway 1: Pay to Play (Corporate & Direct Entry)
Perfect for corporate teams and local businesses looking for community visibility alongside a premier day of golf.
- $2,500 Sponsor Level: Half Team (2 Players) plus standard corporate signage.
- $3,500 Foursome Level: Full Team (4 Players).
- $5,000 Sponsor Level: Full Team (4 Players) plus elevated brand placement on the course.
- $10,000 Sponsor Level: Premier partnership package including Full Team (4 Players), maximum brand exposure, and exclusive recognition.
Every tier includes player gift bags, meals, beverages, and entry into the 19th Hole Par-Tee.
Pathway 2: Fundraise to Play
- Individual Goal: Raise at least $2,500.
- Team Goal: Raise $10,000 as a foursome.
- BrightStone provides custom online donation pages and tools to make fundraising simple and fun.
What is the Tournament Day Schedule?
9:30 AM - Registration Open, Warm-Up and Fairway Fuel Up
Check in, grab your player information, and get ready for the day. Take the shuttle to the driving range and warm up your swing. Enjoy breakfast, fresh coffee, and beverages from our Mimosa & Bloody Mary Bar.
11:00 AM - Opening Ceremony & Shotgun Start
National Anthem, opening announcements, and tee-off!
4:00 PM - The 19th Hole Par-Tee

Are donations tax deductible?
Yes. BrightStone is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Donations made to a golfer's campaign or as a direct corporate sponsorship are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Paid registration spots and sponsorships that include golf are tax deductible minus the value of goods and services received. The deductible amount will be specified on your receipt.
